Paris

Paris trip was on 25/06 to 28/06, a 4 days 3 nights stay over. The great thing besides all the attractions is that, 25/06 was the first day of summer sale in Paris! Lots of pictures are gonna be up and I'll try to put them in order.

The must-have when travelling around on your own in a foreign country, a guide book with a map.
First up, we had to check in to the hotel and it was located at Franklin D. Roosevelt. Champs-Elysees is the shopping street where many designer brands are at.
At the balcony of the hotel. Nice view with strong wind and hence my ugly hair. I seriously need a hair cut!
This.. was at Concorde if I'm not wrong. We were trying to find the Louvre.
Still on the way there, not forgetting to take pictures of course haha.
The Arch. Kinda like this pic cuz of the sun's rays.
Like I said, there was strong wind that day and this was how it looked like when a sudden gust came and it became all blur and sandy.
Finally, Musée du Louvre.
Nice nice! Very crowded though.
Both my aunts.
Well, I did take pics in front of the Louvre but it was very horrible! haha I either closed my eyes or it just look v ugly!

Next, we proceeded to this place that's like really grand but sadly, I couldn't remember the name of the place! I'll check my guide book when I go back to SG cuz it's inside my luggage and I'm too lazy to open it after trying so hard to squeeze everything inside! This is the flight of stairs that one can take to reach the top where the grand place is but.. being lazy and afraid of muscle aches, we took the lifts instead. lol
My the other aunt wasn't lazy though. She climbed the stairs and took pictures as she went.
Tadaa! So nice! Blue sky, white building, small and colourful people. The interior is a church.

Taken at the top. I like the clouds!

This one looks like some huge, old haunted castle with ominous clouds!
The metro.
There there.. The whole building belongs to Louis Vuitton. I bought 2 bags there and THEY'RE NOT MINE! The many attractions in Paris.
Pretty magnets!
Here you go, the Eiffel Tower! We didn't go up to the top though. I promise to edit this post with more info okay! All the info is inside my guide book!
Me and my two aunts.
Shopping street.
Ahh I remember this place. Notré Dame! Beautiful place. Also a church.
The interior..

The Eiffel's legs.
La Fayette is a huge shopping centre with many branded stuff inside. Super crowded.
The Eiffel Tower at night. Nice right! Hmm it's actually taken from my guide book! lol

I'm sorry but we're back at Notré Dame again. Very troublesome to shift them!

The next time anyone visits Paris, I'm afraid the Eiffel Tower will not be there anymore because I took it away! hahah
Okay for the good of mankind, I shall be nice and place it back!
And so I've to make sure that it's firmly stuck to the ground. ;)
I like how this picture looks like the top of the tower poked a hole through the clouds.

This was the third day already. Did a bit of sightseeing and continued with shopping.

The metro at station Opera.
My face looks bloated lol

Alrights, the train back to Holland. It was a.. 3 or 4 hours journey I think.
Okay I think this blog entry on Paris seriously lacks words I'll edit it when I have time!

It's now 2am over here and I'm very tired because it was Gay Pride Day yesterday, 2nd Aug, and we went to join in the crowd to look at the canal parade at Amsterdam Central. Very very very crowded and lots of walking too! Pics up next time! I still have lots of pics of other places actually. Shall blog about them when I'm free! Got a temp job through Eve and I'm starting on Wed, 1.5 days after touching down after my two long months of holidays. Am I hardworking or what?! Lol. Guess it's back to reality very soon! Let's go out for dinner!

Happy Birthday g!

Flying off in erm 19.5 hours time! Before that, I need to get about 8 hours of sleep. Haha goodnight world! :)
